This is an interesting social virtual world that a classmate and I explored this past week. We found it to be rather uneducational. It is definitely used for more of a social aspect than for learning. The cartoons are a little child-like and the games seem really simple. The user is bombarded with a slew of advertisements, but it is free. It is good for chatting with friends and I suppose there could be telecollaboration on this website. However, it would require the teacher to be a lot more creative than with other sites. I would say that this site is limited in what a teacher and her students can do. Another big factor is that there isn't very much safety in place at the beginning. The user is responsible for makign it secure. I did have fun exploring, I have never really used a virtual world like this before.
