Each telecollaborative group was assigned a topic earlier in the semester to research in order to become experts in that topic. For my group, CMC Travellers, we were assigned "Selling TEPBLL to School Administration and Parents." We worked telecollaboratively to research, discuss what information will will put in our video, write a script for the video, and to create the video to present this topic. It was an interesting process, but it all was finalized today when I showed our final project today in class. The video turned out well.

My two biggest contributions to this project were providing resources about how to convince people to do what you want them to do and creating the Powtoon video for our presentation. Researching persuasive tactics and tips was not difficult. However, Powtoon was difficult to edit because of issues with 2 people working on it at the same time. Powtoon does not allow more than one user to edit at the same time. At first, this was really frustrating, but when we discovered the problem, editing the video was easy.

I'm proud of our final project, especially since we worked telecollaboratively on it. I think that our topic is interesting and very relevant to language teaching today. TEPBLL can really assist in the acquisition of a second langauge but often administration and parents are skeptical about using this approach. Here are some pictures of our final project.

This was a concept map that my teammate created. Use these tips to convince someone of anything like the principle that TEPBLL should be implemented in schools.

This is a picture of the Powtoon that we created.
