Melinda Dooly talks about the Teacher 2.0 in her article with the same title. Teacher 2.0 is an instructor that can utilize Web 2.0 (modern internet and technology as it was intended to be used) to it's fullest potential in a pedagogical setting.

Dooly emphasizes the necessity of telecollaboration with an objective, which would effectively provide project-based learning that facilitates interaction between students (Dooly, 2010). This collaboration really enhances the learning process for students. It promotes communication, problem-solving, and cooperation.

The challenge for the teacher is to find "effective teaching stategies that integrate Web 2.0 into the learning process and which truly engage the students in collaboratvie learning" (Dooly, 2010, p. 283). I want to be a Teacher 2.0. I believe this class is a step in the right direction. My final project will encompass some principles of TEPBLL (Technology-Enhanced Project-Based Learning).
